Helping voters make healthy choices

Keeping up with all the changes in elections this year has been… let’s say exciting as states work to make sure everyone can vote safely during the COVID-19 crisis.

Center for Civic Design joined We Can Vote, American Public Health Association (APHA), National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), and Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) to create HealthyVoting.org to add advice from public health experts to up-to-date information about voting options and rules.

For voters deciding whether to vote in person or online, the site lays out the options to help voters make the best decision for themselves.

This site lays out everything voters need to make an informed decision in one mobile-friendly place. In user testing, one voter from Georgia described it as “easy to understand… the information was right there I didn’t have to read through a ton to find what I needed.
