Communicating Election and Post-Election Processes Toolkit

Use this toolkit to build educational materials about pre- and post-election processes that observers and the public can follow. Election officials in any jurisdiction, large or small, can adapt these resources to meet their observer and voter education needs.

This toolkit was developed for the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). Download the full toolkit on the EAC’s website.

What is this toolkit for?

  • Share trustworthy information with voters and nonvoters who have questions, concerns, and fears about election processes
  • Combat mis- and disinformation about post-election processes
  • Provide information to local news media to create consistency in what voters read about elections in your jurisdiction
  • Provide information to local political parties who will send observers to your county facility
