Randy Hadzor

Randy is an information designer at the Center for Civic Design. He has a passion for thoughtful design and a strong appreciation for the transformative power of creativity.

Before joining CCD, he worked alongside small businesses, governmental offices, nonprofits, and grassroots initiatives on a wide variety of media. As an enrichment instructor for the YMCA he taught visual art in the Syracuse City Schools with an emphasis on basic skills, while subtly including more advanced design concepts.

Randy built on his curiosity of the core principles of design and overlapping elements of communication while working with the nonprofit organization Proliteracy Worldwide. He found deep inspiration in the amazing stories of adult learners and the experience informed a greater understanding of the power of design and collaboration in solving important and often invisible challenges.

Randy was born and raised in Syracuse, New York and holds a BFA in computer graphics from Monmouth University. Outside of work, Randy enjoys exploring the world by bicycle and through visual art, especially in loose watercolor sketches.
