People Operations

Teallary brings a sprinkle of southern hospitality to the People Operations Role at CCD. As a proud native of Houston, Texas she’s translated her core beliefs to a defining career; people matter. “Our people are our biggest asset. They represent the communities we impact. Understanding the individuals who make up our team transfers to a deeper understanding of the democracy we strive to protect.”

Her passion for civic involvement began when she was a site coordinator for the community programs division of multiple independent school districts across the Houston area. Working with diverse children and their families inspired her to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education, where she taught fourth grade in multiple inner-city schools.

Prior to working with CCD, she assisted small childcare businesses with curriculum writing, staff development, employee engagement initiatives, community outreach, and the establishment of HR frameworks to make their daily operations seamless.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Houston-Victoria. In her spare time, she enjoys researching historic events, visiting historic landmarks, traveling with family and friends, and indulging in the melting pot of food cultures across Texas.
