Leeron is a content strategist and writer for the Center for Civic Design. She brings her experience in communications and storytelling to CCD and is passionate about helping to improve the voter experience.
As a journalist, Leeron has written for publications including Slate, Quartz, Salon, the Village Voice, Gothamist and the New York Observer, among others. In the past, she has written about information design, and specifically about how the typographic choices news publications make communicate information to readers.
She has previously worked for the tele-health company NOCD as a writer where she contributed to improving information access of treatment options for people suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Leeron received a B.A. from Barnard College in English and Art History. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
