Emma

Emma is CCD’s Design Practice Lead and a Civic Information Designer. Her favorite projects involve working collaboratively with local elections officials, translators, and designers to make information accessible to all intended audiences.

She comes to CCD after several years working as a graphic designer in the voting rights space in New York. She is especially proud to have worked on designs for Ranked Choice Voting from the 2019 ballot initiative to the 2021 NYC Primary Voter Guide. She has designed voter education materials for organizations including Common Cause NY, Citizens Union, and APA Voice / MinKwon Center for Community Action.

Emma holds a BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design. She lives in Brooklyn, New York. Outside of work, Emma is an emerging textiles artist, makes most of her own clothes, and enjoys learning about food from her farming family members!
