Allyson Gill is an information designer committed to creating an accessible, inclusive, and caring world through thoughtful design. Her diverse professional background includes experience in product design, communications, data, strategy, and operations in government, startup, and non-profit sectors.
Allyson’s experience gives her a holistic perspective on approaching design challenges. With a background in communication technology and journalism, she loves combining diverse technologies and mediums to tell stories and solve complex issues.
Before joining CCD, Allyson worked as a product designer at Blue Ridge Labs at the Robin Hood Foundation, designing tools to fight poverty. Before this, she worked at the NYC Department of Education, tackling complex service design challenges and developing citywide programs to foster diversity in tech and STEM fields.
Allyson was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and holds a B.S. in Communications Technology from the City University of N.Y. She is a snowbird living between Brooklyn and Los Angeles, California. Outside of work, she is an avid home cook and can be found seeking inspiration in museums and exploring beautiful landscapes.
