Make an impact by supporting our work today
At the Center for Civic Design we strive to make every interaction with government easy, effective, and pleasant. We work with elections offices, democracy advocates, and civic engagement organizations to make elections easier to run, support innovation, and invite participation in elections.
Our work removes barriers in the voter journey so everyone who is eligible feels invited to participate in democracy by casting their ballot as an informed voter. We couldn’t do this work without your support!
Together, we can improve elections and strengthen our democratic processes.
We gratefully accept your tax-deductible donations, whether it’s 1-time or monthly:
We love being able to do this work, and we love the amazing supporters who make this possible. Thank you again for being part of the Civic Design family!
Every dollar we get, large or small, goes directly into the work of solving problems, sharing best practices, and doing research to make elections easier for everyone. Our annual reports show where and how your support has made an impact on our democracy!
With $50, we can provide 1 participant incentive in a research session to understand their voter experience.
With $100, we can share 1 set of Field Guides to election offices on how to design processes to ensure voter intent.
With $500, we can review a new ballot design based on our best practices and share our recommendations with a state’s election office.
With $1,000, we can re-design a form or ballot return envelope so voters can fill it in successfully the very first time they try.
With $5,000, we can coach an election office in civic design skills and help improve their election planning on-site.
With $10,000, we can conduct a UX research project on hidden disabilities and their impact on voter experiences at the polling place.
No support is too small: Every dollar goes directly to ensuring every eligible voter gets to participate in our democracy!
We accept support from individuals, donor advised funds, and organizations (including corporate and philanthropic giving). Besides your support and unrestricted grants, we also take on project grants and contract work.
